Join The King Center as we empower and engage young people to become next generation leaders! The We've Got Next: Turning Readers into leaders is designed to encourage youth, especially ages 8-12, to read in order to be inspired to lead. This interactive book event, will feature book readings, interactive activities, and a book drive. There will also be a book signing with the book's authors as well as King family members who have written children's books. Our goal is to promote literacy &  service but also the FUN you can have while doing both! During the event, there will be an opportunity to collect new and used books of all languages to send to those effected by hurricanes and the homeless community. The event will be hosted by Miss Yolanda Renee King the only grandchild of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Miss Maryn Rippy & Miss Aliscia Beal, great granddaughters of A.D. King.

Other special guest will consist of Martin Luther King, III, Arndrea King, Yolanda Renee King, Maryn Rippy, Aliscia Beal, Dr. Angela Farris Watkins, Xernona Clayton,  Donald Bermudez & Dr. Andrea Lewis.  Music by Dj Willy Wow
